Our Updated Price Guide
For competent kitchen fitters and plumbers, this type of work isn’t difficult at all, it’s bread and butter work that they carry out frequently.
In 2015 and again in early 2018 we sent out price requests to dozens of firms and asked them how much they would charge to replace a kitchen sink.
Below you’ll find the results of our research – we have taken an average of the figure given to us.
We think our research is very insightful, but if you would like a fixed price, you’ll need to fill out this form.
Cost to Replace a Kitchen Sink
The price displayed below is for a simple sink swap.
The cost does not include the price for a new worktop, which you won’t need if your new kitchen sink is:
- Larger than the existing one, or
- The same size as the existing one, and
- Is located in the same location.

The sink we chose cost £250 and this is included in the figures above, as is the cost of any other parts needs; pipes, connectors etc. We also asked our chosen tradespeople to dispose of the old sink.
